$10,000 Community Grant awarded by Westpac Foundation

We’re thrilled to announce that we have been named as one of the Westpac Foundation Community Grant recipients for 2019. The $10,000 grant will help us to create lasting change through our innovative home ownership pathway.

Head Start Homes Founder Stephen Woodlands shares;

“These funds will provide hope for community housing tenants and help end poverty and homelessness. Everyone deserves access to a safe and stable home, and we are delighted to have the support of Westpac as we pilot our home ownership solution in regional NSW.”

By helping to give a head start to our first community housing family so they can fulfil their home ownership dreams, this will then free the way for another household at risk of homelessness to gain access to a community housing home.

We’re so grateful for the support we are receiving as we draw closer to completing the very first home ownership pathway for a community housing tenant. More info about how our solution helps to end poverty is available at:
