A Day at The Farm: Empowering Women, Inspiring Change

There’s something truly inspiring about coming together with others who share your passion for making a difference. On Saturday 24th May 2025, we had the privilege of visiting The Farm in Galong, NSW—a place where hope, healing, and community spirit are at the heart of everything.

The Open Day was filled with powerful stories, warm connections, and a sense of possibility. From heartfelt presentations to tours of the beautiful grounds, it was clear that The Farm is a place where women can rebuild their lives and find new beginnings.

Our Chief of Empowerment Products and Services, Jo Formosa, was honoured to attend and connect with The Farm’s dedicated CEO, Kate Cleary, and the courageous women on their recovery journeys. Hearing their stories and dreams for the future was both humbling and uplifting.

At Head Start Homes, we’re always looking for ways to support and empower people on their path to brighter futures. We’re excited to explore how we might work alongside The Farm in Galong to help women take the next steps towards independence and, one day, home ownership.
