Head Start Homes presents at Melbourne Design Week

Head Start Homes presents at Melbourne Design Week

Head Start Homes Founder and Managing Director, Stephen Woodlands, will be giving his perspective on “ How can we redesign a more equitable housing system” as part of a panel discussion on the topic at Melbourne Design Week, which is an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the National Gallery of Victoria.

To be held on 25 May at Cassette, Kensington, the free event is being hosted by Assemble Papers and will feature some of the country’s most innovative voices in housing to discuss ways of bringing about equitable systemic change.

The event aims to better understand what it will take to ensure financially viable, climate-ready and well-designed housing for more Australians - and how we can achieve this within our current system.

Stephen will outline the ways the Head Start Homes aims to disrupt homelessness, intergenerational poverty and cycles of disadvantage via our Empowerment Services and Products.

You can read more about the event here.

This event is part of Melbourne Design Week 2023, an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV.
